How will growth be determined for 2022 accountability calculations for students who did not test in 2020–21?
Students who did not test during the 2020–21 school year will not receive a STAAR progress measure. Growth will be calculated for students who received a valid score in 2020–21 and a valid score in the same subject in 2021–22. The 2022 STAAR Progress Measure page has more information available about how progress measures will be calculated.
