Will Academic Growth be used to determine 2022 accountability ratings?
Yes, Academic Growth will be included in 2022 accountability rating calculations. The prior year to current-year methodology that was used in 2019 will return. Calculations will consider assessment results eligible for a STAAR progress measure. Performance from 2021 will be compared to 2022. Updated documents explaining how STAAR progress measures are calculated are posted to the Progress Measures webpage.
