Why does my district’s domain/overall score show an 89, but when I drill down to the data it shows a higher score?
Why does my district’s domain/overall score show an 89, but when I drill down to the data it shows a higher score?
The domain or overall cap of 89 is applied for several reasons:
- The district did not receive an overall rating of A because the district includes at least one campus with a corresponding overall scaled score less than 70. In this case, the highest scaled score a district can receive overall is an 89.
- The district did not receive a domain rating of A because the district includes at least one campus with a corresponding domain scaled score less than 70. In this case, the highest scaled score a district can receive for the corresponding domain is an 89.
- The district received an F rating in either the Student Achievement domain or the School Progress domain; therefore, the better outcome of the two domains is limited to a scaled score of 89.
