How are students included in the accountability subset who move between the April STAAR and May STAAR administrations?

How are students who switch between April and May STAAR exams accounted for in accountability measures?

The campus that tests the students last will be assigned the results of the administration.  Here are two scenarios that help explain it, assuming they are enrolled at snapshot at the 1st campus in April.

  1. If a student moves between the April and May STAAR administrations, and tests in both, the results are assigned to the same campus as May assessment results. The campus at which the student tested in May receives the April STAAR results. To meet the accountability subset, the student must have been administered the May assessment at the same campus they were enrolled on fall snapshot. In this example, the student's results would not be included in accountability.
  2. If the student took a STAAR in April but did not take a STAAR in May, the April results are reported to the campus at which the April assessment was administered, even if the student moved between April and May. This would meet the accountability subset and be included in that campus's accountability.
